Day 1: Angkorian era and its’ trails- by bike
You’ll start your tour by meeting one of our experienced Local-Trails guide. You’ll purchase your temple ticket en-route to Ta Prohm temple, otherwise known as ‘jungle temple’.
From here, you’ll continue your journey to Angkor Thom, the capital city established in the 12th-century. Enjoy cycling along Angkor Thom’s wall, built to protect its’ city during the Khmer Empire. We will then view Bayon temple, built by King Jayavarman VII, who built hundreds of temples across the Kingdom.
By now, you’ll be ready to re-energise with a hearty-lunch and cold coconut. Want lunch with a view? Not to worry, we’ll be sat right next to one of the seven man-made wonders of the world, Angkor Wat. Once you’ve rested, we’ll explore this

Tour Details

  • Meet at your accommodation
  • Cycle to Taprom Temple, famous for its’ overgrown jungle among the ancient ruins
  • Head along Angkor Thom’s trail, a route hailing back to the 12th-century
  • Visit Bayon, the temple with 4 faces
  • Lunch close to Angkor Wat, one of the seven man-made wonders of the world
  • Visit the wondrous Angkor Wat temple to finish off the tour
  • Return back to your accommodation for some rest and relaxation!

Day 2: Trekking up Kbal Spean, Banteay Srie temple and landmines museum- By tuk tuk or bus (option: cycling)
You’ll start your tour by meeting your experienced Local-Trails guide. From here, you’ll take off to a waterfall known as Kbal Spean. Here will do some trekking up to the ‘Valley of a 1000 Lingas’.
After all the trekking, you’ll be ready to stop for lunch. Where better to have lunch than at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the mountains?
Once refreshed, we’ll visit the Landmine Museum, set-up by CNN World Hero ‘Akira’. The Museum really shows the impact of The Vietnam War, and the different types of ammunition used during that period.
We will then going back to the Hotel for a rest after a hard physical and emotional day.

Day 3: Explore local’s trails and local villages daily life – by bike.
You’ll start your tour by meeting your experienced Local-Trails guide. From here, you’ll take off to a buddhist temple which served as one of the killing fields during the Khmer Rouge period. Once here, you’ll be given a brief history about the Khmer Rouge and the ramifications this period has had on modern-day Cambodia.
Next on our ride is Angkor Thom’s trail, the capital city established in the 12th-century. Here, you’ll cycle around one of its’ five gates before taking off to Baray reservoir, one of Cambodia’s largest man-made reservoirs. This place also serves as a popular relaxation spot for locals and tourists alike. Local villages will also be explored witnessing the daily activities which occur in the Cambodian countryside. By now you’ll be ready to cool down, so what better way than being blessed by a monk?!
Once you’ve been blessed, you’re ready to head back to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest. Despite being out for just half a day, you’ll know a little about the Khmer Rouge time, will have explored an ancient capital city trail, seen where locals relax and been blessed by a monk!
